MiFID II makes distribution agreements relevant again

Sef Laschek, director product management at AF Advisors, wrote an article about the implications of MiFID II on distribution agreements.

Since the legislation change on inducements, the need for distribution agreements between fund managers and distributors has disappeared. This led to asset managers not using the agreements at all. MiFID II makes the distribution agreements relevant again. In this article, Sef highlights all aspects that should be taken into regard considering the new distribution agreements under MiFID II.
